Membership
Participation in preserving the traditions of the dental technology fraternity in Bulgaria, and assisting the development of the Bulgarian Association of Dental Technicians, as the main guarantor for the professional growth and the successful fulfilment of all practising dental technicians as well as for the quality of the denture treatment in Bulgaria.
Professionalism
Skilful and responsible performance of the dental technology activities in a team with the colleagues, dental technicians and dentists, applying creativity in favour of the patient, and putting to use the efforts made for the education and the development of the professional skills.
Goals
The Bulgarian Association of Dental Technicians has as its goal to represent and defend the professional rights and interests of its members.
- To create and keep electronic registers of its members.
- To define the rules for the issuance of certificates on the qualification in the profession.
- To adopt professional ethics codes and to oversee their compliance.
- To approve and put forward to the Executive Agency “Medical Supervision” changes in the current standard on Dental technology, related to the advent of new technologies and digital processes.
- To organize, coordinate, conduct, register and control the ongoing education of the association members, determined in contracts with the higher medical schools and with the bases for postgraduate education.
- To help its members and their families, in case of need, according to the statute of the organization.

the creation of the BADT is a step towards unification. We made this step during the past year and we have already been building up trust for twelve months. We are aware that this is a slow and difficult process. We have worked with the clear objective to set up our organization, defending the interests and vindicating the rights of the guild. We want transparency, coherence, positivism and support! The unification of all members will contribute to the achievement of the goals we have set for ourselves, namely raising the profession of dental technician to a higher level.

The modern world poses new challenges to us. New conditions of living and working. We cannot remain indifferent to them. Nevertheless we have to remain true to ourselves, and that could be possible only if we preserve our values. We should be humane to our patients, helping them with love and care. We must be an example and support in our job, to our colleagues. The willingness to evolve and the responsible attitude in any choice me make, must lead us forward. High professionalism and the conviction that a human being is valuable in him/herself are the deontological objective that will bring us satisfaction from our work!”

I would like to express on behalf of the control commission my satisfaction that the Association of the Dental Technicians in Bulgaria is already a fact. It is the outcome of many years of effort. An organization that is going to be useful to all dental technicians, patients and partners. The Association will contribute to improve the quality of education of the dental technology students. Good luck also to the renewed website, through which the college will receive information on the work of the Management Board and on all novelties in the organization.
The control commission declares commitment to strict adherence to the statute of the Association, to an augmented sensitivity to wrong situations and to search solutions to all cases concerning its activities.
